KM-6 Manual Hydraulic Machine for Pavers, Blocks and Kerbstones


 The KM-6 manual hydraulic machine is a compact option for manufacturing concrete pavers, hollow blocks, solid blocks and kerbstones. It is suitable for buyers who want flexibility through interchangeable molds and are prepared to manage material feeding, pallet movement and curing with trained labor.

Its value comes from matching the machine to a focused market. A contractor may use it for kerbstones and blocks on project sites, while a small manufacturer may begin with common paver sizes and expand the mold range after developing regular sales.

Hydraulic compaction and vibration

Concrete products require the right balance of hydraulic action and vibration. Pressure helps consolidate the material and control height, while vibration helps particles rearrange and reduces internal voids. A reference paver production target may use compaction in the region of 7,000 psi, but the correct operating setting depends on the machine, mold, product and mix.

More pressure is not automatically better. Excessive force, incorrect vibration or an over-wet mix can damage pallets, increase mold wear, distort products or create sticking. Operators should use the approved settings and make small recorded adjustments.

Products and molds

Possible products include 100 x 200 mm pavers in 50, 60 or 80 mm thicknesses, hollow blocks, solid blocks and kerbstones. A reference large solid block may measure 6 x 12 x 18 inches. These dimensions are examples; the ordered mold must state the exact finished product size and cavities per cycle.

      Product thickness or height adjustment

Mix preparation

A dry-cast concrete mix for vibro-compaction behaves differently from normal flowing concrete. Aggregate grading should allow particles to pack densely, while the water content must be sufficient for cement hydration without making the mix collapse after demolding.

Use weighed batches wherever possible. Record the weights of cement, sand, stone, pigment and water for each product. Adjust water for the moisture already present in the aggregate. A small moisture change can affect demolding and surface finish.

Daily operating discipline

Inspect oil level, hoses, fittings, vibration fasteners, mold bolts, guards and electrical connections before production. Keep the mold box and tamper clean. Lubricate only at the specified points and prevent oil contamination of the concrete surface.

At the end of the shift, remove concrete buildup before it hardens. Do not strike precision parts with heavy hammers. Store molds on a stable rack and protect hydraulic hoses from sharp edges and vehicle traffic.

Curing and quality checks

Fresh products should be moved without shock and protected from rapid drying. Establish a curing schedule appropriate to local weather and product requirements. Check dimensions, weight, visual finish and damage rate each shift, and arrange strength testing according to the project or market standard.
