Not every growing concrete-products business needs a fully automatic line on the first day. The KM-28 ST is intended for buyers who want strong production capability while retaining practical operator control over selected stages. It can be configured for pavers, blocks, kerbstones and related products through the appropriate mold and material system.

The ST configuration uses a single-trolley working concept and can suit factories where manual face-mix loading is acceptable. This reduces the complexity of the line compared with a fully automatic face-mix arrangement, while the main machine still provides hydraulic and vibration-based compaction.

Where the KM-28 ST fits

The plant can be considered by established manufacturers upgrading from a smaller machine, contractors supplying their own projects, and entrepreneurs serving housing or road-development markets. It is especially relevant where the owner wants a higher-output machine but prefers a staged investment in batching, stocker or automatic face-mix equipment.

Before selection, compare required daily output in square feet and pieces. A paver mold can produce several pieces per cycle, while a large block or kerbstone mold may produce fewer pieces. The machine should therefore be quoted with a production chart for the customer’s exact product.

Machine settings cannot correct a badly graded mix. Establish an incoming-material check, moisture adjustment routine, batch record and curing standard. Operators should inspect dimensions, surface finish, edge condition and weight at regular intervals. Compressive strength and absorption testing should follow the applicable customer or project requirement.
