The KM-28 DT is designed for manufacturers who want a more integrated paver and block production line with automatic material handling and a double-trolley working arrangement. It can be configured for concrete pavers, hollow blocks, solid blocks, kerbstones and related precast products by changing the mold and production settings.

For buyers moving from manual or semi-automatic production, the main advantage is not simply a faster press cycle. The complete system can coordinate batching, mixing, face mix, mold filling, vibration, hydraulic action, pallet movement and finished-product transfer. This reduces unnecessary handling and helps the operator maintain a repeatable production rhythm.

Double-trolley production concept

The double-trolley arrangement is intended to organize the movement of production pallets and concrete loading around the machine cycle. When correctly matched with conveyors and stocker equipment, it can reduce waiting between operations. The actual output still depends on the mold cavities, paver size, concrete behavior, operator settings and availability of pallets.

For a 100 x 200 mm paver configuration, a reference output can reach approximately 35,000 pieces in a 10-hour working period under suitable operating conditions. This figure is not a guarantee for every mold. Heavy blocks, larger kerbstones, thicker products, frequent color changes or longer cycle settings will produce different results.

Automation and electrical control

A fully automatic plant may use PLC and HMI control for cycle sequencing, settings and fault indication. Variable-frequency drives can be applied where adjustable motor speed supports controlled vibration, hydraulic operation, pallet stacking or material feeding. The final panel design should include overload protection, emergency stopping, proper earthing and clear manual/automatic modes.

Typical KM-28 DT motor planning can include multiple vibration motors, hydraulic power, mixer drives, conveyors, face-mix equipment and pallet handling. The final connected load must be calculated from the confirmed scope. Buyers should size the transformer or generator after receiving the final motor schedule, not from an estimated machine nameplate.

Batching and mixing for consistent products

High production is useful only when every batch is controlled. A suitable aggregate batching system can weigh sand and stone fractions before discharge to the mixer. A cement silo and screw conveyor can support organized cement feeding, while water dosage must be set for the aggregate moisture and mix design.

The base-mix mixer should be selected for the required batch volume and machine demand. If double-layer pavers are planned, a separate pigment mixer and face-mix loading arrangement should be included. Good practice is to prepare a repeatable mix recipe for each product and record adjustments by weather and moisture condition.

Molds, pallets and stocker planning

Confirm the production pallet size and construction before ordering large quantities. Pallets must remain flat and stable under repeated vibration. The mold should match both the machine and the required market dimension. For multi-product factories, discuss realistic mold-change time and storage arrangements for unused molds.

A stocker or pallet stacking system can help organize green products leaving the machine. The handling system must be designed around curing movement so that freshly compacted pavers are not disturbed before they gain sufficient stability.
